Dactyloscopus foraminosus, known commonly as the Reticulate stargazer in the United States,[1] is a species of sand stargazer in the genus Dactyloscopus.[2] It is a tropical blenny found from southeastern Florida, U.S.A., to Brazil, in the western Atlantic Ocean.[2] It was named by C.E. Dawson in 1982,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 7.9 centimetres.[2] Blennies in this species swim at a maximum depth range of 11-79 metres.[2]
